Fantastic Film Prize

Fantastic Film Festival Australia and Umbrella Entertainment present the Fantastic Film Prize, a landmark initiative celebrating the boldest voices in Australian genre cinema, returning for the second year.

Entries are now open for the prize, which is seeking original, completed Australian feature films that dare to thrill, provoke and defy expectations.

The selected films will screen in competition at Fantastic Film Festival Australia and will vie for a  $10,000 cash prize awarded to a film which pushes the boundaries of horror, sci-fi, fantasy, action, cult, and the downright unclassifiable.

The winner of the Fantastic Film Prize will be chosen by a jury of esteemed industry leaders, and presented at an awards ceremony during the festival.
